All-Wheels Car Show to be held Sunday, June 14

Alton’s 18th annual All-Wheels Drive-In Car Show will be held on Sunday, June 14. The event typically attracts approximately 200 classic cars, hot rods and motorcycles, which the public is welcome to browse on Third, State and Belle Streets. There is no charge for admission.

Registration for automobiles is from 8 a.m. to noon, and trophies will be given in 37 classes plus five specialty awards at 4 p.m. The fee is $15 to enter the judging, or just $10 to display your wheels. Dash plaques and goodie bags are given to the first 125 participants. This is a qualifying show for the 2015 “Best of the Best” competition.

Alton Main Street organizes the evente with support from Time Machines Unlimited Car Club. Guests will enjoy live music throughout the day; the Mondin Band will perform from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 2 to 4 p.m. DD Revival will play 1950s and ’60s rock music.
