ST. LOUIS – Winter is finally over and on July 11 and 12 Slide the City is bringing a 1,000-foot slide to downtown St. Louis.
“We spend so much time walking, running, or driving around our cities,” said co-founder TR Gourley. “But how many times have you been able to say you slid down your city streets?”
Market Street will be transformed as participants ride inflatables down a giant slide spanning three city blocks. The family event features music, local vendors and giveaways.
A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to Saint Louis Area FoodBanks. This charity organization distributes food through a network of more than 500 partner agencies.
Participants can purchase a one, three or unlimited slide pass. Tickets are now available, starting at $13.
Slide the City is partnering with St. Louis radio stations, Fresh 102.5, KMOX and Y98.
