ALTON — The Jacoby Arts Center is launching a Summer Music Series to showcase the diversity and range of regional talent starting on Friday, June 12. The doors will open at 7:30 pm, with the performance set to begin at 8 p.m.

“A terrific new feature of Jacoby Arts Center’s Cabaret will be partnerships with local chefs, bakers and food purveyors with their delicious specialties,” said Denny Scarborough, Jacoby’s president. “The series will make Jacoby an exciting place to gather with friends and listen to live music on Friday nights.”

For the concert, Jacoby is partnering with Maevas coffee and edibles. Food and drink are available at additional cost.

Singer-songwriter Chris Nathan, who recently relocated to the region from Nashville, will mark the series’ debut. He blends blues, gospel, R&B, country and hip-hop.

No reservations are required. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10.
