Sitton Energy Solutions hires leader of new analytics strategy

ST. LOUIS – Sitton Energy Solutions has added Joe Wojtal, of O’Fallon, Ill., as its new analytics strategy and execution leader.

Wojtal (left) is responsible for expanding the firm’s current set of energy management solutions with the integration of real-time data collection and data analytics capabilities, while also working to further relationships with building automation system and cloud-based application partners.

With Wojtal’s addition, Sitton Energy Solutions will now be able to offer Sustainable Facilities Optimization Solutions, which produce a distinct value proposition to customers by delivering the highest possible return on investment for their facilities through a unique, data-driven optimization process. These solutions also utilize industry-leading monitoring and analytics technology to ensure resulting performance optimization is sustainable, and focuses on the owner’s return on investment independent of design, construction and equipment contracts.

Prior to joining Sitton Energy Solutions, Wojtal served as vice president of Development Solutions, Systems and Operations at Cisco Systems, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company’s global development organization.

During his more than 20-year tenure with Cisco, he served in a variety of roles with increasing responsibilities in engineering, sales and operations functions.

In 2006, he pioneered Cisco’s entry into solutions development through the integration of third party hardware and software with Cisco technology. Wojtal was also the co-leader of Cisco’s Cross-functional Cloud Board which defined Cisco’s Cloud strategy and execution plan, including technology partnerships in the cloud space. He holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Washington University and a master of science in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He received his Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert certification in 1996 and is a member of the engineering honorary organizations Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu.
