Group to present session on business transition planning

A group of businesses and organizations is coming together to present, “Leaving a Legacy – Business Transition Planning.”
The succession-planning event will take place 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, at Julia’s Banquet Center, 101 Eastgate Plaza, East Alton.
Presenter will be Steve Barnhart, of IMEC, the nonprofit manufacturer improvement organization.
Sponsors are IMEC, Corporate & Community Learning at Lewis and Clark Community College, Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard PC, The Investor Group at The Bank of Edwardsville, RiverBend Growth Association, and the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce.
There is no charge. The event targets both manufacturers and business owners.
