Benefits of maintenance cross-training subject of upcoming Selsius program

GRANITE CITY – Local manufacturers and leaders from businesses with maintenance departments are invited to a free event that showcases the benefits of cross-training.

Selsius Corporate & Career Training at Southwestern Illinois College will host Solving Your Maintenance Skills Gap on April 24 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Sam Wolf Granite City Campus, 4950 Maryville Road.

Guests will be introduced to the Selsius total training solution for maintenance technicians, which includes needs analysis, knowledge assessments using TPC Online tests, hands-on training and work skills demonstrations, all meant to ensure workers are doing the job right.

Visitors can see the training facility in action by touring the SWIC Industrial Technology Center, which features a new advanced PLC lab.

Registration includes a free continental breakfast.
