Sewing machine outlet marking 25th with workshop

COLLINSVILLE – Bernina America, a national manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, will participate in the 25th anniversary celebration of the Cross Patches store in Collinsville, which is hosting Sewapalooza, a one-day workshop.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1966 Vandalia in Collinsville.

Bernina educator Betsy Carlson will introduce the company’s new next-generation 7 Series machines at the event.

In addition, guests will have an opportunity to learn unique embroidery techniques with Bernina’s Embroidery Software 7.

The cost is $49 and includes all supplies, use of Bernina machines, door prizes, discounts and lunch. To register, call or stop by the store. Guests who pre-order a Bernina next generation 7 Series machine will receive a $100 certificate.
