Touchette Regional Hospital names new controller

CENTREVILLE – Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville has announced that Shannon Tesio has been promoted to controller.

tesio shannonTesio (left) will supervise Touchette’s accounting and material management departments as well as oversee financial reporting, planning and analysis.

Tesio, a Certified Public Accountant, joined the organization in 2007 and has served in a variety of positions, most recently as strategic business analyst. She earned her bachelor of science in accounting from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is currently working toward her Master of Business Administration from McKendree University in Lebanon.

“Shannon’s eye for detail and dedication to excellence have been instrumental to improving the financial health of the organization,” said John Majchrzak, corporate vice president of finance at Touchette. “Through her development of advanced healthcare and fiscal analysis, we’re excited that she has taken this next step and confident she will continue to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Touchette’s fiscal functions.”

Touchette Regional Hospital serves the Metro East communities of Alorton, Cahokia, Centreville, East St. Louis, and Washington Park.
