Dr. Anthony Tersigni takes helm as chairman of Regional Business Council

ST. LOUIS – The Regional Business Council has appointed Anthony Tersigni as chairman.

As chairman of the RBC, he will lead the RBC in its 2015 initiatives, including continuing efforts to support the Reinvest North County Fund. To date, the RBC has raised more than $500,000 to help numerous small businesses and four school districts in the Ferguson area.

The RBC has also appointed two vice chairmen: Carmen Jacob, CEO of NextGen Information Services, Inc.; and Tony Thompson, chairman and CEO of Kwame Building Group, Inc.

Jacob will provide leadership for the RBC’s global diversity work and Thompson will oversee all of RBC’s education initiatives.

In addition, the RBC has admitted four new members: Michael Holmes, president of Rx Outreach; John Kemper, president and CEO of CommerceBancshares, Inc.; Thomas Manenti, chairman and CEO of MiTek Industries, Inc.; and Richard Mark, president and CEO of Ameren Illinois Companies.

The Regional Business Council is a consortium of presidents and chief executive officers of mid-to large-sized companies in St. Louis. The mission of the RBC is to unite and engage members to act on high-impact business, civic and philanthropic affairs for the betterment of the St. Louis region. More can be found at www.stlrbc.org
