Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices adds home estimator service

ST. LOUIS – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Select Properties has introduced a Select Home Estimator service, which allows consumers to enter any U.S. address to “click and see” local and national home value estimates on both the company’s and 550 agents’ websites, as well as a more detailed and comprehensive report used by lenders to estimate home values for mortgages.

Estimates from the innovative Select Home Estimator feature are free and do not require registration.

Consumers can visit www.bhhsselectstl.com to find a local home value, after which they can register for the Interactive-Automated Valuation Model (I-AVM) — a more comprehensive market analysis report — by submitting their name and email address. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Select Properties is the first brokerage in Metro St. Louis to provide the analytics tools to consumers.

Consumers will receive not only a value estimate and a value range, but have the opportunity to work with an agent to access the more in-depth I-AVM report that provides them with additional data from Public Records and tax records — including last sale price and date — comparable properties and local housing trends.”
