COCA seats new board officers for 2015
Richard C. Schwarz, Jr., turnaround manager for Phillips 66 Wood River Refinery is serving as the 2015 chairman of the board of directors for the Council of Owners and Construction Associates, Inc.
Also elected during the December COCA board meeting were: Vice Chairman Kenneth B. Pollmann, general manager of power operations at Prairie State Generating Co., LLC; and Secretary/Treasurer Jonathan A. Bach, the mechanical integrity specialist for Afton Chemical Corp.
COCA, Inc., located in Maryville, is the local construction user council serving the Metro-East area of Southwestern Illinois and is affiliated with the Construction Users Roundtable.
The primary purpose of COCA is to increase safety awareness and the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the construction industry.
COCA’s membership includes the area’s major industries and utilities and more than 140 construction firms who perform construction and maintenance services for these industries.
