Mudge named to Illinois Supreme Court committee
EDWARDSVILLE – Third Judicial Circuit Judge William Mudge was recently named to the Supreme Court e-Business Technical Committee by the Illinois Supreme Court.
The committee will work under the direction of the e-Business Advisory Board to develop standards in the data management of case management systems and state agencies.
The 11-member committee is responsible for working with the vendors and other agencies to define standards for specific e-Business transmissions and to establish the technical requirements for data exchanges approved by the Supreme Court and its e-Business Advisory Board.
Mudge previously served on the Supreme Court’s Technology committee. He is a member of the Illinois Judges Association and served as state’s attorney in Madison County prior to becoming a judge.
The e-Business Technical Committee is chaired by Judge Val Gunnarsson of Mount Carroll, Ill., and includes other judges, circuit clerks, and case management vendors.
