Bank VP earns financial advisor designation

EDWARDSVILLE – The Bank of Edwardsville’s Tina Fromme recently earned the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers, a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association in Washington, D.C.

fromme tinaFromme, left, is a vice president/trust officer with The Investor Group at the bank, and has been with the company since 2008. Also a Certified Financial Planner professional who holds Series 7, 63 and 66 certificates and Insurance licenses, she was named a Five Star Wealth Manager by St. Louis Magazine in 2012 and 2013.

The CFTA designation is awarded to individuals who demonstrate excellence in the field of wealth management and trust. To qualify for the CTFA certification, individuals must have certain levels of experience and education in the trust profession, pass an exam and agree to abide by a code of ethics.

The CTFA exam covers many areas including fiduciary and trust activities, financial planning, tax law and planning, investment management and ethics.
