Three named to board of Caritas Family Solutions

BELLEVILLE – Three local people have been named to the board of directors of Caritas Family Solutions.

– Father David P. Uribe, OMI, is the director of Pilgrim Services at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville. He earned a master of science in divinity from Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, Texas, and a master of science in organizational leadership and ethics from St. Edwards University in Austin. Uribe is a member of Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. He serves on the Planning and Program Development Committee.

– Stephen Telken is an attorney and partner at Schoen Walton Telken & Foster, LLC in East St. Louis, Telken earned a bachelor of science in business administration in finance and economics from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo. He also earned a Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law and a master of business administration from Saint Louis University John Cook School of Business. Telken is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Missouri State Bar Association. He serves on the Performance, Oversight and Monitoring Committee at the agency.

– Jill Wenzel is a community volunteer and is a sustaining member of the Junior Service Club of St. Clair County and a Tocqueville Society member of the United Way. Prior to her community work, she was the assistant development director for Belleville Area Family Hospice. She earned a bachelor of science in business and marketing from University of Illinois Champaign. She serves on the Public Relations/Resource Development Committee.

Caritas Family Solutions (formerly known as Christian Social Services), founded in 1947, is a not-for-profit, social services agency providing adoption, pregnancy care, foster care, counseling, senior assisted living, senior employment, Community Integrated Living Arrangements for people with developmental disabilities, juvenile offender therapy program, and a home for abused and neglected children ages 6-12.
