Madison County Bar Association chooses officers
The lawyers of the Madison County Bar Association elected officers for the 2014/2015 year at their annual meeting.
The newly-elected president is hristopher Threlkeld of Lucco, Brown, Threlkeld & Dawson.
“I am extremely honored that the members chose me to be the president of this organization and to help publicize all the good we do in the community,” Threlkeld said.
The Madison County Bar Association exists as both a network of legal professionals and as a legal resource for the communities and citizens of Madison County. To promote these ends, the members of the Madison County Bar Association engage in community outreach programs and events throughout the year, including Law Day and the People’s Law School.
Additionally, the association sponsors events and educational opportunities for its members to better serve their clients and the public.
Other officers are: First Vice President, Judge Ellar Duff (retired), Alton; Second Vice President, Eric Carlson from Byron, Carlson, Petri & Kalb, LLC., Edwardsville; Treasurer, Troy Walton from Schoen, Walton, Telken & Foster, East St. Louis; Recording Secretary, David Weder from Lewis, Rice, & Fingersh, St. Louis & Edwardsville; and Corresponding Secretary, Patrick King of King Law Firm, Alton.
