Allegiant announces new nonstop flight from MidAmerica to Tampa Bay

allegiant20annouces20new20flightMASCOUTAH – Allegiant today announced new, nonstop jet service between MidAmerica St. Louis Airport and Tampa Bay via St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport beginning Nov. 19.

In celebration of the new service, the company said it would offer introductory one-way fares as low as $75.

“We are thrilled to expand our brand of low-cost vacation travel in the St. Louis Metro area with new service to Tampa Bay,” said Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Co. president and COO. “We look forward to connecting the Southern Illinois and Metro East communities to Florida’s Gulf Coast with affordable, nonstop service and the ability to book their entire vacation with us for less.”

The new flights will operate twice weekly between MidAmerica St. Louis Airport and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport beginning Wednesday, Nov. 19. Tampa Bay joins Orlando as the second destination served by Allegiant from MidAmerica St. Louis Airport. Flight days, times and fares can be found at
