Unity Hospice names director of clinical services

COLLINSVILLE – Unity Hospice of Greater St. Louis recently announced that Jennifer Mann of St. Charles, Mo., joined the company as director of clinical services

Area Administrator Gay Little made the announcement.

In her new role, Mann will provide management to Unity Hospice clinical staff as well as oversee the delivery of hospice care. In addition, Mann will play in integral role in making sure the implementation of service exceeds patient and family expectations, all the while following hospice regulations as stated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Having spent over a decade in long term care, Mann formerly served as area administrator at Heartland Hospice in Washington, Mo. She later accepted a position as director of professional services at Heartland Hospice where her primary responsibilities were case management, supervising professional nursing staff, assisting in marketing initiatives as well as overseeing the patient referral process and admissions. Previously, Mann served as hospice clinical manager at Carl Homecare Services in Champaign, Ill.

Mann received her associate’s degree in nursing from Parkland College in Champaign, Ill.
