Illinois-based Delta Dental tabs national sales support director
OAK BROOK – Delta Dental Plans Association, the nation’s largest dental benefits provider, has hired Melissa Larkin as its new director of national sales support.
Larkin will focus on working with national consulting partners and private exchanges.
With more than 17 years’ experience, Larkin has worked in the industry on both the carrier and consulting side, as well as the dental insurance industry and the voluntary insurance market.
Most recently, she was director of dental sales at Dental Network of America/Dearborn National, where she was responsible for increasing market penetration by developing a comprehensive sales strategy for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and Dearborn National dental products.
Prior to joining DNoA in 2006, Larkin served as manager of dental sales at CIGNA Dental.
She holds a bachelor of science degree from Loyola University Chicago.
