Warren Buffett’s son in Illinois for concert series
Emmy Award-winning musician, philanthropist and author Peter Buffett is bringing his concert series, “Life is What You Make It: A Concert & Conversation with Peter Buffett,”to Illinois.
The event will be Tuesday, June 3, at 3:45 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Upper Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601.
It concludes The Axelson Center of North Park University’s 15th Annual Symposium for Nonprofit Professionals and Volunteers, a two-day event. In it, the future of nonprofit management and effective fund-raising tools are explored.
His keynote performance is an interactive event fusing music, video, audience participation, and personal anecdotes.
As the son of financier Warren Buffett, he said the only real inheritance handed down from his parents was a single, lasting philosophy: forge your own path in life. It is a creed that has allowed him to follow his own passions, establish his own identity, and reap his own successes.
