Alton man elected president of Illinois Ready Mixed Concrete Association

NORMAL – An Alton man has been chosen to head up the Illinois Ready Mixed Concrete Association.

The group has announced the election of Scott Maberry to serve as president. He served as vice president of IRMCA previous to his presidency.

“I would like to thank the members of the Illinois Ready Mixed Concrete Association for having the confidence and trust in me to serve as president of the association,” he said in a statement. “We will continue with our strong promotion and education of the concrete industry to further show that there is great value and use with the product we offer to the public for its construction and pavement needs. It comes with great honor to serve with my fellow producers and associates on the IRMCA Board.”

Maberry is the vice president for Kienstra-Illinois, LLC, headquartered in Wood River. Kienstra-Illinois is a family owned business established in 2006. Maberry is partnered with Ted Kienstra Jr., Dan Bruns, and Pat Wessels. Combined they have over 100 years of experience in the ready mixed concrete business.
