Unity Hospice names Lisa Rose Employee of the Year

COLLINSVILLE – Unity Hospice of Greater St. Louis recently named Lisa Rose as Employee of the Year for her work as referral coordinator.

Area Administrator Gay Little made the announcement.

Rose, a New Douglas resident, has been with Unity Hospice nearly a decade. She began her career with Unity Hospice serving a clinical externship as part of her medical billing and coding curriculum with Sanford Brown.

Rose was then hired full time to serve as staffing coordinator, shortly followed by her current role as referral coordinator. She was described as an integral part of establishing and maintaining relationships with Unity Hospice’s referral sources.

“Rose is an asset to Unity Hospice’s patient referral process,” Little said. “She understands the needs of our patients, their families and our referral sources, and she truly believes that they should only receive the best possible service.”
