“Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation (SIHF) opens its arms to all people, providing high-quality healthcare regardless of one’s financial resources. As the second largest Federally Qualified Health Center network in Illinois, and one of the largest in the country, SIHF includes 30 health centers in nine counties. All of the SIHF facilities are staffed with providers who are leaders in primary care, dental services, behavioral services, surgery, and specialty services. Last year we delivered excellent, compassionate care to more than 100,000 patients.
SIHF provides a three-way approach to help people achieve their highest quality of life: Care Coordination (Getting the right care, at the right time, at the right place), Clinical Integration (A unified team approach focused on achieving quality outcomes and getting results), and Equitable Access (We are here to serve – period). In short, we are committed to lead individuals and our communities to their healthiest lifestyle today, and tomorrow.
In addition, we recently guided more than 4,000 Illinois residents through the Health Insurance Marketplace, ensuring they found coverage that fit their needs as well as their budgets. And with $14 million in capital investments over the past three years, we’ve strengthened our infrastructure and operations to continue delivering leading-edge care at every center.
Together, the staff and providers at SIHF lead individuals and communities to their healthiest lifestyles and empower the areas in which we serve.
We are proud to be your neighbors, and partners in health.”

“Southern Illinois University Edwardsville provided me with the academic foundation and access to a professional network that propelled me to a successful career.
As an undergraduate, I majored in construction management in the School of Engineering. After graduation, a member of SIUE’s faculty helped me land a job as field coordinator on a $4 billion refinery expansion project for Phillips 66. Looking for ways to advance my career, I decided to pursue an executive MBA at my alma mater. No other program offered a similar value, and I learned so much as an undergraduate.
Since graduating from the MBA program, I have remained engaged with the University through leadership positions in the SIUE Alumni Association. SIUE has worked hard to become a nationally recognized institution. We want alumni to know how this growth is augmenting the value of their SIUE degree.”
