Tri-City Regional Port District

The former military headquarters on the old Charles Melvin Price Support Center base now serves as an office building at the entrance of River's Edge Business and Industrial Park. After the support center ceased operations as a military base, the adjacent Tri-City Regional Port District began plans to acquire and develop the site into a business, industrial and recreational center. The main office building now houses the Tri-City Regional Port District offices, as well as other office suites and a floor reserved for incubator companies.

Koman sells Lincoln Place, Stifel & SWIDA refinance debt

   FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS - Lincoln Place, a 370,000-square-foot, $60 million shopping center development anchored by Lowe's Home Improvement Center and Kohl's, has a new owner.
   On June 23, Houston-based Weingarten Realty Investors officially acquired the property from Koman Properties Inc.
   For developer and Koman Properties Inc. President Jim Koman - whose name is known in Southwestern Illinois for projects in Fairview Heights, East St. Louis, Granite City and Wood River - the sale of this two-phase retail development along Illinois Route 159 marks the fruition of an effort that began six years ago. Madison and Venice Share $13 million housing development
