for the future construction and operation of a 110 million-gallon-per-year ethanol plant. Multiple sources have told the
Illinois Business Journal that American Milling and Park 70 purchased this property as part of this agreement with VeraSun.

The price of a gallon of ethanol typically runs about 50 cents higher than the price of a gallon of gasoline due to the
51 cent-per-gallon federal subsidy for ethanol, according to the Energy Information Administration's Short Term Energy
Outlook released in late summer of 2006. However, according to the EIA report, the price of ethanol began a rapid climb in
mid May of 2006 and peaked at nearly $2.20 per gallon above the price of a gallon of gas over the summer.
