Our Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers have provided 105 years of mission work in East St. Louis. Neighborhood House is a community center whose mission is to empower individuals and families to move out of poverty and to achieve self-sufficiency, and to assure that children have the community support needed to be successful in school and life. 
Providing child abuse prevention, parenting classes, child care, youth development, emergency financial assistance, job training and placement, counseling, homemaker services and adult day services, we serve more than 18,000 individuals throughout St. Clair and Madison Counties each year. We have the largest food pantry in the Metro East serving over 5,000 families a month.”
